Nose   :        :      A phenolic explosion hits your nostrils like an Autumn bonfire. It makes an immediate lasting impression coupled with that seductive tang of damp salt and peat drawn from Small Isles Bay. 

                          This complex exciting spirit is alive and kicking, waiting to be tamed by gentle American white oak. 

Taste   :        :    Reduce with soft still water, unless you want to take the full impact of its weight in your mouth. Not for the faint hearted. This spirit demands respect. Feel the force of sharp winds and driving rain in your face as this complex fireball rolls over the palate to reveal its wicked yet likeable character. Smoke, peat, tar rope and hints of lemon gorse all make their inimitable contribution to this unforgettable malt.
